The death took place yesterday, of pneumonia, at Bridlington, of Mr Robert Richardson, of the firm of Messrs Richardson and Co., Timber merchants, Queen's Dock, Hull. He was the son the late Mr Joseph Richardson, Bond-street, Hull. Deceased had not been in robust health but. his death was unexpected. He has left a widow and three children.

John robert Richardson death was probably due to to neglect, he had gone in hospital for a minor operation in May 1918 and during the night after got out bed and fainted and with no nurse on duty he lay there all night, its not clear if this caused him to catch pnumonia or if it was the Spanish Flue, but has a result he died just two days later.
