Following Joseph's death Marian moved to Bridlington, with Edith and Joseph, but her 2 younger daughters Florence and Hilda remained behind at Newlands, Sculcoates.

Around 1905 Marian has return to Cottingham, Hull and purchased a newly built house, for her and her 4 unmarried children, which she named Caton Lodge.

Sadley Marion died just a few years later, 9th July 1910



Originally this was a 6 bedroom house,
but has since been devided into two.
