Martha Ann Pearson died aged 55 yrs on 13th May 1995 in Portland, Oregon
She was first buried 14th May 1895 in a single Grave (permit 1686) at
Riverview Cemetery, Portland.
Following the death of her son Fred Pearson, in 1903, her husbaand ,widower,
Timothy Pearson (2nd)
purchased a family plot ($200) in Riverview Cemetery and Martha's remains were re-intered in
the family plot (section 9 lot 174) a couple of weeks after her son Fred's burial.
On 21st March 1937 instructions were added to records
Make no burials or do any work on Lot without consent of
Mrs George H. Pearson, 1060 SE 55th Ave.

Timothy Pearson - Dead Former Portland Merchant, Aged 71, Dies in San Francisco. Timothy Pearson, of San Francisco, one of the best-known produce dealers on the Coast, died suddenly at San Francisco at noon yesterday. He was the father of Timothy Pearson Jr., and George H. Pearson, of the Pearson-Page Company, of this city. Mr. Pearson was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire County, England, 71 years ago. He was in business in Portland from 1834 to 1898. Later he removed to San Francisco, where he conducted the largest fruit and vegetable brokerage business on the Coast. Mr. Pearson was in Portland about a month ago to celebrate his 71st birthday. It was his custom for years to spend his birthdays with his sons in this city. |

Mrs C. E. Ingram, Timothy Jnr., George H. and Albert Pearson. A native of
England aged 71 years and 1 month ( Portland papers pleasecopy) Interment at Portland Ore. Remains at the Parlors of the Western Addition funeral directors. 1724 Devisadero Street between Sutter and Bush, untill 6pm this evening. |
