September 5/6/7th,
Arthur's final battle at Soyer Farm

Advancing. Soyer Farm, Ploegsteert Wood and Bailleul.
On 5th September 5pm: The 11th Battallion of the East Lancs attacked Soyer Farm , they then handed over the line to the 11th battalion of the East Yorkshire Regiment during the night of 5th/6th

The 10th & 11th Battalions of the East Yorks held out against repeated counter attacks on the 6th /7th however the enemy eventually regained the farm at great cost to the East yorks.
