MARRIAGE
BYASS - ELGEY, January 24th at All Saints, Driffield, by the Rev. E.J.Wilson rector of Middlreton on-the-Wolds, Digby Byass of East Fields, Middleton youngest son of the late Thomas Byass of Bainton and Mrs Byass of Driffield and Mable youngest daughter of the Late John T. Elgey and Mrs Elgey, of Neswick.

The bride wore a travelling costume of Fawn cloth and skunk furs, with hat of Velvet and silk to match, and was attended by miss Kate Elgey, her sister, and Mr Thos Wilson Michell accompanied the bridgroom as best man. the bride was given away by her brother Mr James Elgey of Kilwick, and the Rev. E. J. Wilson the rector of Middleton conducted the marriage service. Mr. W. G. Peake played the wedding music and after the ceremony the church Bells were rung. a reception and lunch at the Bell Hotel preceeded the departure of the bride and bridgroom for their honeymoon.
