Bainton poular Wedding A very popular wedding took place on june 24th at At Andrew's Church, Bainton - The cathederal of the Wolds - The Contracting parties were lieutenant John Stuart Bradford R A P son of Mr and Mrs Bradford Litleover, Derby, and Miss Margaret joan Elgey, ATS third daughter of Mr. and Mrs James Elgey, of Neswick, Bainton . The service wa conducted by the Rector the Rev. A Ferguson and the organist was mr Randolf Jackson of Carton. The bride wore a piece of powder blue with wine accessories and carried a bouquet of tea roses with orange blossom. Mr. John Topham Elgey the bride's brother was best man. The Chuch was well filled with friends of the young couple and there were many presents , including an electric clock from the bride's fellow officers. About fifty guests attended the reception at the home of the Bride's parents The honeymoon is being spent atAberside.
