MELLSTROM CROMPTON; Third son of Mr. and Mrs G. C. Mellstom of
Lynton, St. Leonards Rd., Thames Ditton, Mr. Nicholas James Mellstrom
was married on Saturday at St. Nicholas Church , Thames Ditton to
Miss Sheila Margaret Crompton, Elder daughter of of Mr. and Mrs. H. Crompton
of Kitalie, Kenya, Wearing a full lengh dress of White lace with a short veil
and carrying a bouquet of white flowers, the bride was given away by her father
.
She was attended by her sister Miss Heather Crompton and The bridegroom's sisters Misses Judy and Virginia Mellstrom and Miss Kate Buchanan. They wore ballerina length dresses of white more with Nasturtium accessories. Mr. Gramham, Mellstrom the bridgroom's brother, was he best man and the service was conducted by the Rev. W.A. J Yeend vicar of St. Peters Church, West Moesey. A Reception held at the bridegrooms home was attended by 150 guests and the Honeymoon is being spent on Ibiza. |

A honeymoon in Italy followed the wedding on Saturday of Miss Virginia Sybil Mellstom
younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs G.C. Mellstrom of Lynton, St Leonards Rd. Thames Ditton
took place at St. Nicholas Church. The Bridegroom was Richard Everett Hobbs younger son
of Mr. and Mrs C. Hobbs of Haywards Heath. The Bride who was given away by her father
wore a gown of her own design in white wild silk, a veil of old Honiton Lace carried
a bouquet of roses. |
