This is the last will of me Hilda May Campbell of Richmond in NewZealand spinster.

  1. I revoke all wills and testamentary disposition at any time heretofore executed by me and I appoint the Public Trustee of NewZealand herein after referred to as my "my trustee".

  2. I direct that my remains after my death be cremated that the ashes be scattered or interred as near as possible to my parents grave at Rototai Cemetary Takaka.

  3. I give and bequeath the sum of one thousand dollars ($1000) to my friend Mavis Mary Herbert (care of the Department of Social Welfare Takapuna Auckland but should she predecease me then to her son Leon Herbert.

  4. I give and devise the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) to the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees for the purposes of the Presbytarian church at Takaka and I direct that the receipt of the secretary treasurer or any other person appearing to my trustee to be authorized to give receipts on behalf of the said Presbyterian Church Property Trustees shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my trustee for the benefits hereby given and my trustee shall not be bound or concerned to see to the destination or expenditure thereof.

  5. I give devise and bequeath the whole of my estate both real and personal of whatsoever nature and whatsoever situate not hereinbefore otherwise disposed of unto my trustee upon trust to pay thereout my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and all death duty payable in respect of my estate and to divide my the residue in to seven (7) equal parts and to stand possessed of such parts upon trust as follows :-


As to two (2) of such parts for my neice Florence Isabel Wilson (daughter of my brother Thomas Campbell) but should she predecease me then for such of her children as survive me and if more than one in equal shares.

As to one (1) of such parts for my nephew Alan James Campbell (son of my said brother Thomas Campbell) but should he predecease me then for such of his children as survive me and if more than one in equal shares.

As to one (1) of such parts for my nephew Brian Henry Campbell (son of my said brother) Thomas Campbell) but should he predecease me then for such of his children as survive me and if more than one in equal shares.

As to remaining one (1) of such parts for my nephew David John Campbell (son of my said brother Thomas Campbell) but should he predecease me then for such of his children as survive me and if more than one in equal shares.

In the event of the failure of the trusts of any of the said parts, the part or parts the trusts where so ever fail accruing as well as original shall be added to the others or other of the said parts the trusts whereof do not fail ratably and proportionately in accordance of the original division and shall be subject in all respects to the same trusts powers and provisions as herein appear concerning the parts or part to which the same attach.


This is a codicil (the first) to the last will of me Hida May Campbell of Richmond in NewZealand Spinster which will bears date the thirteenth day of August one thousand nine hundred and seventy three (1973).
  1. I direct that my said will be read and construed as if prior to the execution thereof paragraph had been struck out and the following paragraph be substituted therefore.


  2. I direct that my remains after my death be cremated that the ashes be scattered or interred as near as possible to my parents grave in the Rototai Cemetary Takaka and that a small plaque suitably inscribed to my memory be erected over my said parents grave and I further direct that all reasonable costs incurred in complying with my wishes specified in this paragraph 2 of this my will shall be paid by my trustees from and out of the residue of my estate.


  3. In all other respects I confirm my said will as witness my hand this eighteenth day of September one thousand nine hundred and seventy three (1973).
