A wedding of interest to many Papakura people was celebrated in Christchurch
last Wednesday, when Miss Ona Francis Jephson, second daughter of Mr. C. H. Jephson,
was married to Mr. L. D. Mills, second son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Mills, Hamilton.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. C. Wood. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white crepe de chine trimmed with pearls, with bridal veil and coronet of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of white flowers.
The bridesmaid, Miss Gladys Ryburn, wore a dress of blue crepe de chine with rosebud trimmings and hat to match. The little flower girl, Kitty Mc▀eath. wore a pretty dress of pink crepe de chine.
Mr. L. G. Lacassie acted as best man.
