Mr. Lionel O. Paget of Te Awamutu, writes stating that the report that he has resigned the charge of the work of the KihiKihi Parish is incorrect.
He adds: "I May further say that for the present (untill further notice) the work will proceed as usual, I myself working under the Diocess missionary This applies to Te Awamutu, Kihikihi, Rangiahia, Pirongia, Kings country, and surrounding districts."

This suggest Lionel might have met Marion in Te Awamutu before the Glass family moved to Devonport circa 1900, however he also moves to devonport circa 1900.
