John Ramsden age of 69 in 1841 census and 69 at death dec 1841 suggest he was born between jan ~ mar 1772
There is a christening 21st sep 1771 Wakefield father Henry, however non of his sons were called Henry.
The later christening on 20jun1774 at Wakefield has father John,
which is the name of his first son,

possible siblings found in All saints wakefield son/dau of John Ramsden
John c.15oct1764 buried 30aug1772
James c.20jan1766 buried 21sep1766
Joseph george c.04apr1768
Hannah c.14sep1771
John c.20jun1774
Samuel c.04apr1774

Eliza buried 04aug1771

However the marriage document show a James Ramsden as witness which is probably his brother or father, which would seem to discount the wakefield birth, The original tree started 1911 listed him as John of Huddesfield, and there is a possible matching entry 5july1771 Huddersfield father william Ramsden.
So was first child named John after himself and the second CHILD William after his father?
