Mr T. Moncur, who has been goldfields representative for Messrs Sargood, Son and Etven
for some considerable time, was met on Thursday owning last by a number of commercial
gentlemen, and presented with a very handsome smoker's companion prior to
his departure for Auckland, where he takes up a responsible position with
Messrs Ross and Glendining. Mr 0. H. Morrall, who acted as spokesman,
referred to Mr Moncur's many sterling qualities, and to the esteem in which
he was hold by his comrades on the road, whose good wishes he carried
for his future SUCCESS. |
