ASHE- WADDEL.
On January 25, at the Anglican Church, Waitoa, by the Rev. J. A; Kenrpthorne, George, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ashe, of County Donegal, Ireland, to Vera Harriett, was solemnised on Monday last, when Miss Vera Waddel. youngest daughter of Mr. George Waddel, Te Aroha, was united to Mr. George Ashe, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ashe. of Ireland.
In the temporary absence of a Church of England at Te Aroha.
The ceremony was held in the Anglican Church. Waitoa.
The bride wore white georgette over satin, and carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. asparagus and maiden-hair fern.
The bridesmaid. Miss Roma Hinton, wore an apricot coloured frock trimmed with silver, and carried a bouquet of mauve flowers. The little flower girl, Miss Marion Johnson, wore a pretty shell pink frock and hat. and carried a basket of pink flowers. A reception was held at the residence of the bride's sister. Mrs. A R Cordes.
