Laurence caton Borrell born 1808
He inherited in 1826 under the will of his Gt aunt Elizabeth Borrell,
A sum of one thousand pounds to be paid when he was 25 years old (ie 15 feb 1833)
untill then the trustees to apply the interest/Dividends of the said principle of
one thousand pounds for his benifit.

I Give and bequeath unto the said Theodopolus Harnies and John Loft the sum of One Thousand Pounds to be paid to or retained by them within tweve calander months of my decease together with interest after the rate of five pounds for a hundred pounds for a year from the time of my decease until the actual payment thereof unto? the Cofts? upon the trust following, that is to say, upon trust to Lay out and invest the the said sum of One Thousand Pounds in their own names in public stocks or funds or an endowment or real securities at interest and upon trust to pay and apply the interest dividens and annual proceeds thereof in for or towards the maintainence, benifit of my great nephew Lawrence Borrell the son of my late nephew Benjamin Borrell untill he shall attain the age of Twenty Five Years in such manner as the said trustees or Trustee for the time being or shall in thier or his discretion think proper and as soon as my said great nephew Lawrence shall attain the the age of Twenty Five Years, upon Trust to pay in or upon rehiree? the sum shall be invested and all accumulations, if any,of the Dividends interest and yearly proceeds thereof unto my said great nephew Lawrence Borrell his Executors Administrater or assigns provided unto thereof

And I Declare and direct that it shall and may be lawfull for the Trustees or Trustee for the time being of the said sum of One Thousand Pounds if he she or they shall think proper to apply any part of the said sum of One Thousand Poundsso given to my said great nephew Lawrence not excuding the sum of Two Hundred and fifty Pounds during that period or shall be under the age of Twenty Five Years for advancing him in that world? or Executor for his benifit in such manner as he she or they shall think proper.
