WEDDING;-McCLYMONT-SHAW,-
A very pretty all-white wedding took place at Knox Church, Masterton at noon yesterday, when Miss Katie Shaw, daughter of Mr W. F. Shaw, of Masterton, was married to Mr Charles Barrio McClymont, son of Mr George McClymont, West Bush, Masterton, and lato of Scotland.
The bride, who was given away by her father, was daintily attired in a gown of ivory crepe-de-chine, and court train of brocaded silk. The gown was very simply trimmed with an overdress of chinon; also guipure lace and pearls. The customary veil was worn, arranged with a coronet cf orange blossom. The bride carried a sheaf of lillies, roses, and white agapanthns.
The bridesmaids were Miss Flora McColl, of "Lismore," Taihape (chief), and Miss Grade Crawford (cousin of the bride).
The bridesmaids wore pretty frocks of white embroidered voile, trimmed with satin ; and wore short veils with a crown of white phlox and maidenhair fern. They carried sheafs of white cactus dahlias, roses, and maidenhair fern. Mr T. Smith, of Masterton, attended, the bridegroom as best man. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a handsome chased gold bangle, and to the bridesmaids dainty gold brooches.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. T. Browns, M.A., B.D. Afterwards a sumptuous wedding breakfast was served in Knox Hall. The happy couple left for the south, where the honeymoon is to be spent. The bride wore a smart navy serge travelling costume, with a pink and navy hat to match. The "Wedding March" was played by Mrs G. McClymont, Junr., - sister .of the bride. The flowers were supplied and artistically arranged by Miss Dyke, florist, Petone.
