McCLYMONT SHAW. At Knox Church this afternoon, Mr George McClymont, of Masterton, was married to Miss Amy Shaw, of Mr and Mrs W. F. Shaw, of Masteton. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in beautiful gown on crepe-de-chine, covered with shadow lace. The bridesmaids were Miss Katie Shaw (sister of the bride), Miss Grace Crawford, and Miss Gwen Godfrey, all of whom wore dainty white dresses. Mr Charles McClymont (brother of the bridegroom) was best man. The bride is a popular member of Knox Church choir, and the wedding was a choral one. The Rev. A. T. Thompson and the Rev. Thos. Halliday officiated. After the ceremony a reception was held in Knox Hall, at which a large number of guests were present. Mr and Mrs McClymont left by motor this afternoon for the south, where the honeymoon will be spent. |
