Geelong Advertiser,   Monday 23rd March 1868,
The havoc made aong sheep from time to time by many curs, whose owners , if they have any, are never forthcomming, is something incalculable. The last crusade of the kind is that by which Mr. Donald Scott, of Wareek, lost no less the one hundred sheep. This occurred a little over a week ago. It is to be hoped the owners of the dogs in question will be traced and severely punish for allowing such vicious brutes to run loose.
