Constance's father Robert died in 1890

A very sad death occurred at Riwaka on Saturday morning last, when Mrs MacMahon, wife of Mr Thomas MacMahon, Riwaka, passed, away at the early age of 32 years, after a brief period of a few months of married life.
The funeral took place on Monday afternoon, and was largely attended, the deepest sympathy being felt for the sorrowing relatives. 'The ceremony at the graveside was performed by Mr W. W. French, Presbyterian Home Missionary.

Constance was buried alongside other MacMahon family members in the Riwaka Cemetery.
