Weddings at Murchison A second wedding took place in the afternoon at the house of Mr Jesse James, when Miss Anna James 1 was married to Mr Jos. Goodyer. Mr Fawchelle was best man and the bridesmaids wsre Misses Ivy Gooriyer and Mary James. A sumptuous breakfast was served in a spacious marquee erected for the occasion, and a larse number of guests were present. The usuall toasts were honoured and the presents to the bride were both numerous and valuable. The marriages was celebrated by the Rev F. Quintrell of Reefton. |
