MINING LEASE APPLICATION. Lawrence, May 2nd, 1877.
To the Warden at Lawrence. SIRS, I have paid to the District Surveyor the sum of 3 3s for the survey of the following Gold Mining Lease Application; and I agree, upon approval of this application, to execute a lease upon the basis therein stated, if the Governor or his delegate shall think fit to grant the same. I have the honor to be, Sir, your obedient servant,

For tiie first six months, two men subsequently, when in full work, eight men. Amount of capital proposed to be invested- 2,ooo. Proposed node of working the land. By sinking and crushing.
Precise locality. Section 6' block XL, Table Hill District, unsurvcyed. Term for which lease is required. Fifteen years. Time of commuicing operations. lm- mediately upon the lease being granted. The above application, and any objections thereto, will be heard before me at Lawrence, on Monday, 28th May, 1877.
Any person desiring to object to the issue of a mining lease upon the above application, must lodge the same before the day of hearing at my office.

Mr Andrew Barr, on the 15th, was riding a horse bareback on the Wiapori road, when it commenced bucking, and he was thrown to the ground, recieving a concussionof the spine.
