Maria Flora ('Flo') McKinnon, was born on 23 Oct 1864 at Wollomba River, Manning River District?, N.S.W. Obituary in Northern Chronicle, Taree 13 November 1935: Born at Glen Ora, Nabiac, and resided there almost her whole life, except for short periods at Sydney and Orange. Keen Red Cross worker in and after WWI. earnest member of Presbyterian Church. Maria died on 12 Nov 1935 at Taree, N.S.W., aged 71. and was buried in Nov 1935 at Failford, Taree District, N.S.W.

MISS FLORA McKINNON.
The death occurred in a private hospital in Taree on Tuesday morning last of
Miss Flora M. McKinnon, of Glen Ora, Nablac, a well known resident of the Wallamba district, and also widely known all over the Manning.
She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald McKinnon, formerly of Glen Ora, and previously of Taree Estate.
The late Miss McKinnon lived practically the whole of her life at Glen Ora. She possessed all those traits of character for which the McKinnon family are so well known. She was of a quiet disposition and ever ready to assist those in trouble or any worthy movement, be it civic or in connection with one or other of the churches, particularly her own, the Free Presbyterian Church.
During and after the Great War Miss McKinnon was a keen Red Cross worker. She was a particularly home-loving woman and in her home hospitality always was found.
Surviving sisters are Mrs. Harry Miles (Forster), Misses Harriett and
Jean McKinnon (Glen Ora), Mrs. E. McMastcr (Glen Ora).
