RESERVIST TROUBLES, APPEALS BEFORE BOARD.
SEVERAL FIGHTING RECORDS.
The First Military Service Board resumed its sitting yesterday, Mr.F. J. Burgess presiding.
Tobias Alison, builder, Devonport (Mr, McCormick), appealed ,on behalf of his son Stanley Alison.
Appellant said one son had served at Gallipoli and been discharged ; another had been reported missing after the Messines fight, and a third was fighting in Palestine.
The board, agreed that the family had done well, and granted exemption sine die

Donald Duncan Tobias, beloved husband Emma Alison; in his 80th year.
Interment private. Cremation at Waikunsete. to-day (Wednesday). No flowers, by special request.

Emma, loved widow of Tobias Alison.
A service will be held at Watney Sibun and Sons' Chapel, Khyber Pass, New-market
at 11:30 a.m. Monday. Private Cremation
